People like to ask- "What's the most strings you've done on a bass?" Well, this is the biggest, with 11 independent strings on one neck. The tuning starts at the low F# and goes up past the high E on a guitar. The fretboard wound up being about 6.5 inches wide at the widest point. To transfer the sound, we went with two sets of 6 string pickups used like two very wide p pickups. Each pickup has it's own volume and tone, and dual ouput switching allows for sending the guitar range strings to a separate amplifier when desired.
